The Corpus Christi District has 42 churches and a membership of 13,000. We are one of seven districts in the Southwest Texas Conference, which covers a vast 72 counties.
The other six districts are: Austin, Kerrville, McAllen, San Angelo, San Antonio and Victoria.

Installation of Corpus Christi District Superintendent Rev. Eradio Valverde by Bishop Jim Dorff; July 11, 2010 at FUMC. Born in Kingsville, Texas, moved to Houston, Texas at age 13, attended Lanier Junior High, and graduated from Madison High School. Graduated from Lon Morris College with an AA, Southwestern University, Georgetown, TX with a BA-Sociology; Master of Theology degree from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX.
Married to Nellie Rosales in 1978, we have four wonderful daughters, three wonderful sons-in-law and one beautiful granddaughter, Sarai Evangelina and two grandsons, Liam Carlos Vasquez and newly arrived Caleb Eradio Garcia!
